Reverse Osmosis

It’s a process of water purification that is mainly based on the opposite of osmosis. This water moves from a lower concentration to a higher concentration, which is the opposite of osmosis. In this process, external pressure is applied to overcome the osmotic pressure. With the help of this reverse osmosis, many of the dissolved and suspended chemicals are removed. Biological species like bacteria are also removed from the water.
